Our project within the SPP will investigate the role of environmental conditions for hydrothermal metal transport and ore formation. We will study the impact of pressure and temperature, type of host rock, boiling and phase separation as well as of organic compounds on metal mobility and metal sulfide deposition during field studies in hydrothermal vent areas and in lab experiments.
